FUND RAISER Announcement:

THIS morning will be the LAST chance to turn in your Fundraiser small books.  Please bring it to Mr. Satkowski by 8:30. Also, for the next two weeks, you may bring him your  Coop Coupons for an additional Coop.  Again, these must be given to Mr. Satkowski by 8:30 daily.  Do NOT come during OR between any other class times!!

Also, keep selling and selling.  Money you raise will be money for YOUR school!

 

*Show choir rehearsal will continue today.

*There will be an Ecology Club meeting this Thursday, Oct. 4th.

*Young Gentlemen for Life…If you signed up last week, please make sure to return your 21st Century Afterschool Program Form to Dr. Smith ASAP!!!  You will learn the art of becoming a Gentleman for Life! You’ll learn a lot:  How to tie a tie; proper handshake; take important field trips; building up your community with service and of course dressing for success.

1st meeting, October 10..3:45-5:30 pm in  the cafeteria.

*Ladies for Life…

Attention: 7th and 8th Grade Females

Are you College Bound? Work Bound? Not quite sure Where Bound? Then, the “Ladies for Life” group is just for you!!!  We will discuss ways to build positive self-esteem; work on building positive and respectful relationships with others and learn the true meaning of being a lady. There will be a sign up sheet by Mrs. King’s classroom at 130 Goal Drive (for those who are interested) today and tomorrow. You must have a 21st Century Permission form filled out and returned ASAP to participate.

FIRST meeting will be Wednesday, October 10. Meet in the cafeteria after 3rd Wave.  More details will be given on that date.

>>First MS ACE Meet  4:30 at Bluestone Middle School   Leave MS at 2:30

Wednesday, October 3rd

>>MS Football vs. Russell    Game Time 6:00 (Home)

Thursday, October 4th

>>MS Volleyball at Amelia     Game Time 4:30 (Away)   Leave MS at 3:15

Makeup Game from 9/5/18

>>MS Soccer @ Randolph Henry (Central Charlotte Middle School)  Game Time 4:30 (Away)   Leave MS at 3:15

 

*The Moton Museum and Farmville Area Habitat for Humanity will be hosting a Lip Sync Battle competition on Saturday, October 13.  The event will begin at 5:00pm in the Moton Museum Auditorium.  All proceeds go towards the Birdhouse Build for Farmville Area Habitat for Humanity. Admission is $5 at the door. Refreshments will be available for purchase.  If you are interested in competing, see Mrs. King for more information during bus waves, only!!!

 

*Remember: DO NOT OPEN exit doors for ANYONE!  Visitors must buzz the office. Thank you for listening to MS Morning News. Have a dazzling day!!  Now please stand and face the flag as we recite the Pledge of Allegiance.

 

*Keep turning in Box Tops and Labels for Education to the office AND continue walking on the RIGHT HAND SIDE of the hallway.

*Reminder for students getting breakfast:  Once you get enter the building, go directly to the cafeteria to get breakfast before going to your 1st period class. 

*All students are eligible for free breakfast and lunch for the entire school year. You will only need money for any extra items that you would like to purchase (extra pizza, chips, ice cream etc.).


*Teachers  All monies for Jean Day on Fridays need to be submitted as you enter the office that morning.  Money needs to be collected and counted by 9:00.
